Summer Class Information 2010
5 week summer session will begin July 6, 2010 and run through August 12, 2010.
(NO Classes the week of July 26-30.)
Monday classes will run July 12, 19, Aug 2, 9, 16
Tuesday classes will run July 6, 13, 20, Aug 3 & 10.
Wednesday classes will run July 7, 14, 21, Aug 4 & 11.
Thursday classes will run July 8, 15, 22, Aug 5 & 12.
Tuition: (the prices listed are for the entire 5 week session. Prices are based on the number of classes per week for the family. 1 child taking 1 class per week - $40.00 for the whole 5 weeks
1 child taking 2 classes per week or 2 children each taking 1 class per week - $58.00 for the whole 5 weeks
1 class per week (per family) - $40.00/5 weeks
2 classes per week (per family) - $58.00/5 weeks
3 classes per week (per family) - $76.00/5 weeks
4 classes per week (per family) - $90.00/5 weeks

Tots Dance (ages 2-3)
A fun, positive introduction to the world of dance! Your little one will have fun singing, moving, whirling and twirling to upbeat and familiar music, and learning the very basics through creative, imaginative, and expressive dance and movement activities. We incorporate fun props, dress up, and lots of imagination and fun!

Preschool Dance (Ages 3-4, not entering kindergarten)
This fun, imaginative class is a combination of pre-ballet and creative movement. Young dancers learn the basics of pre-ballet and coordination through familiar and fun music, basic stretches, use of fun props such as scarves, ribbons, and fun dress up - tutus, butterfly wings, tiaras, etc. Creative dance and imaginative activities make for a fun and positive dance experience for young children.

Kinder-Combo (Ages 4.5-6, entering kindergarten & 1st grade)
This fun class will combine the basics of ballet & jazz, along with a mix of fun creative dance activities. Dancers will learn the basics of ballet, dance to upbeat fun music in jazz, and use props and have fun with creative dance activities

Acrobatics (Ages 6-7, & 8-11)
Acrobatics classes involve stretching, floor work, and tumbling to help develop and improve flexibility, strength, and coordination. The summer classes are designed to include both students who are new to acrobatics, and those with experience. The teachers will work with each student individually and as a group to ensure each student is working safely at their own level. Lots of fun!

Ballet Classes (Ages 7-10)
Ballet is the base of all other dance forms. Ballet classes help to develop proper technique, posture, strength, and body placement. Ballet dancers work on barre exercises, stretches, turns, leaps, jumps, and center floor work.

Hip-Hop Classes (Ages 7& up)
A form of street dance performed to upbeat dance and hip hop music. An upbeat, fun and energetic class!

Ages 11 & Up - Wednesday 6:00-7:00 PM
Musical Theater Dance (Ages 8-12)
A theater dance class, students will learn traditional Broadway choreagraphy and music, while combining various forms of dance. Each week we will feature a different exciting Broadway musical for a theatrical dance experience.
